In Focus: Juana Molina 27th March 2026Playing Electronica, Folk, Experimental, Ambient, Indie Rock. Juana Molina is one of South America's most remarkable and exploratory popular musicians. For over three decades, the Argentine-born artist has approached songwriting and music production with a childlike curiosity and sage open-mindednes, garnering a beloved following in Argentina and beyond. Her music, which often compared to Björk, is a patchwork of folk, ambient, electronic and indie rock, and avant-garde in a way that is truly her own. Listening to Molina's music, which is often suffused with humour and oddity, it perhaps comes as no surprise that she first rose to prominence as a comedian, featuring on Artgentinian sketch comedy shows in the early 1990s.
