THE STORY

DASHE was born in 2024.

A candle-obsessed Renaissance woman (Darby) and ex-geologist turned Jack-of-many-trades (Chase) were on a leisurely stroll one day, commiserating about the inconsistency of work, and the challenge of making space for artistic vision when the well-paying work demanded their attention. In that liminal, peripatetic space, the beginnings of DASHE quietly took shape...

GNOSES became a foundational collaborator in the early architecture of the idea.  

The vision: A synergetic, ever-evolving school of seasoned & emerging creative professionals, working symbiotically, operating as a collective; 

breaking the box, then reshaping it; no two experiences ever alike.

A guild, a studio, an agency.

The name arrived in the form of 3 foundational questions:

"What is embodied aesthetics in motion? What is the hypotenuse of experimentation? What is one clarifying syllable?"

DASHE

An amalgamation; a movement; 

an ode to the 'mad dash' so many of us jugglers & hustlers have experienced one-too-many 'a times. 

The extra 'E' for that little extra dose of care & panache & singularity we give to each project.

Equal parts low-brow/high-brow,

our paths are deeply formative;

our relationships are strong and enduring. 

And together: we are conviviality & excellence in motion.
